Who Should Attend
The ERC Basic Programming module is an introductory course to the ERC controller and to programming Yaskawa Motoman ERC robots. THIS COURSE IS A REFRESHER COURSE TAUGHT AT A FASTER PACE.
Course Overview
This course covers the same material as the standard ERC BASIC PROGRAMMING course, but this course will move at a much faster pace. The focus is more on refreshing the student's memories on topics once learned, but possibly since forgotten. Lecture time will be minimal with focus being on additional hands-on.
Course Materials
Students receive a copy of the latest revision of the ERC Basic Training manual.
Topics
Primary topics include: - robot safety - system power up/down - coordinate systems - job functions - programming pendant - path editing - cut and paste functions - position levels - speed correction - arithmetic variables - fault recovery - I/O and control instructions - user frames - tool center point (TCP)
