NX100 Accelerated Programming
Intensive course - Accelerated pace
This course runs 4.5 days, Mon - Thurs 8:30am to 3:45pm and Fri 8:30am to 11:30am
Who Should Attend
The NX100 Accelerated Programming Course is an accelerated learning course covering standard basic and advanced programming functions and instructions. XRC Basic Programming or MRC Basic Programming or ERC Basic Programming and previous robot experience are prerequisites to this course. NOTE: This is an ACCELERATED course and is suitable ONLY for those students with previous MOTOMAN robot experience. Successful completion of the NX100 OPERATOR'S FINAL EXAM is a prerequisite to this course.
Classroom lectures on programming commands are reinforced with demonstrations. Commands and topics are related to real-world examples and applications. Material covered in the lectures is enhanced by actual hands-on programming by students in Yaskawa Motoman Robotics Canada’s 2400 square foot training facility. Students work in teams to perform workshop exercises which emphasize commands covered in class lectures. Classes are kept small in size, typically 12 or fewer students, in order to promote an interactive, hands-on learning atmosphere. This allows the students to work with each other and YMC instructors in order to grasp the concepts covered in class.
Students receive a copy of the NX100 Accelerated Programming Manual and miscellaneous handouts that relate to specific topics covered in the class. Students are urged to take notes, participate in discussions and to bring up specific programming issues.
Students learn to manipulate the robot, create new robot programs, modify existing programs, create backup data, and apply application-specific commands.
The NX100 Accelerated Programming course is a 4.5 day course. This course typically closes out 30 days in advance.
