This course runs 2.5 days
Who Should Attend
The MRC Basic Programming module is an introductory course to the MRC controller and to programming Yaskawa Motoman MRC robots. THIS COURSE IS A REFRESHER COURSE AND RUNS AT A FASTER PACE.
This course covers the same material as the standard MRC BASIC PROGRAMMING course, but this course will move at a much faster pace. Since students have previously completed the MRC BASIC PROGRAMMING course, the focus is more on refreshing the student's memories on topics once learned, but possibly since forgotten. Lecture time will be minimal with focus being on additional hands-on.
Students receive a copy of the latest revision of the MRC Basic Training manual.
Primary topics include: - robot safety - system power up/down - coordinate systems - job functions - programming pendant - path editing - cut and paste functions - position levels - speed correction - arithmetic variables - fault recovery - I/O and control instructions - user frames - tool center point (TCP) - basic software weaving - basic arc instructions
